Product Details

Introducing the Austrian Gold Philharmonic Series, a beloved global collection cherished by enthusiasts worldwide. Originally introduced in 1989, this series has expanded over two decades to encompass a diverse range of five weights. Among these, we proudly present the 1/2 oz Gold Philharmonic for the year 2024, now available for your acquisition through BullionMax.

Coin Highlights:

  • Each coin is securely housed in individual protective flips or convenient acrylic tubes containing 10 coins!
  • This marks the 31st release of the esteemed 1/2 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins!
  • Contains 1/2 Troy oz of pure .9999 gold, arriving in remarkable Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
  • Holds a face value of 50 (Euros) as designated by Austria.
  • Front showcases a captivating portrayal of the Great Pipe Organ.
  • Reverse elegantly portrays a medley of musical instruments, paying homage to the renowned Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

The 1/2 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coin adds a touch of whimsy to its standing within the series. Emerging in 1994 as the final addition among its counterparts, it joins the ranks of the 1 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz coins.

Although it arrived later in the series, the 1/2 oz Gold Philharmonic has etched its place in history over time, capturing the essence of demand much like its 1/25 oz counterpart released in 2014. The 2024 edition proudly features the Great Pipe Organ on its obverse, an iconic fixture within the illustrious Golden Concert Hall of the Musikverein.

Turn the coin to find an array of harmonious instruments depicted on the reverse. A cello graces the center, flanked by violins, a bassoon, a harp, and a French horn in the backdrop. Notably, both the obverse and reverse designs were masterfully crafted by Thomas Pesendorfer in 1989.

Secure your 2024 1/2 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins, offered in pristine Brilliant Uncirculated condition. You can choose to acquire individual coins in protective flips or opt for the convenience of acquiring multiples of 10, elegantly presented in plastic tubes.
