In 2006, gold prices experienced fluctuations, starting at $530 per ounce, peaking above $700, and closing the year at $632.00. The 20th-anniversary release of the American Gold Eagle saw increased demand due to its commemorative significance.

These coins are shipped in protective plastic flips. Comprising 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver, American Gold Eagles are 22-karat gold coins.

The obverse features Lady Liberty in all her splendor, originally designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907. The reverse depicts a male bald eagle flying over a nest of hatchlings while the female eagle watches.

How Does Free Shipping Work?

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. When will my order ship?
