These coins come in the distinctive Rattler Holder, one of PCGS’s original, larger plastic slabs for certified coins.

Morgan Silver Dollars were mainly produced between 1878 and 1904, with annual minting throughout this span. The Philadelphia Mint and San Francisco Mint were consistent producers during these years. Additionally, the New Orleans Mint contributed every year except 1878. Carson City also minted these coins, spanning from 1878 to 1885 and 1889 to 1893.

The obverse side showcases Liberty’s left-profile bust, a design by George T. Morgan. Liberty dons a Phrygian cap, coronet crown, and laurel wreath.

Flipping to the reverse, you’ll find the heraldic eagle, another Morgan creation. The eagle’s commanding presence, with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, symbolizes both conflict and peace.
