The Morgan Silver Dollar, last minted for circulation in 1921, was designed by George T. Morgan. Invited from the United Kingdom by the US Mint’s Director, Morgan became an Assistant Engraver and created the Morgan Dollar. He later became the 7th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint in 1917, a position he held until his death in 1925.

Each 2024 Morgan Silver Dollar Coin is available in flawless condition. Coins graded Mint State 70 have the complete original mint luster and no imperfections. The First Day of Issue designation indicates coins that were submitted for grading within the first 24 hours of their release by the US Mint.

The obverse of the 2024 Morgan Dollar Coins features George T. Morgan’s depiction of Lady Liberty. This design shows Liberty in a left-profile relief, following the Greco-Roman style common in 19th-century American coinage. She wears a Phrygian cap adorned with a coronet crown and laurel wreath.
