The figure of St. George is one of the most notable in British culture and its currency. Since 1817, St. George has been a prominent feature on British currency, and his roots in British folklore go back four centuries further. Today, the 2024 1/4 oz British Gold St. George and the Dragon Coins are available at BullionMax.

The image of St. George slaying the dragon is a prominent heraldic symbol in British culture. It appears on coats of arms, flags, and emblems of various institutions. For example, the coat of arms of the City of London features St. George’s Cross with the dragon in the upper left quadrant.

All 2024 1/4 oz British Gold St. George and the Dragon Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Coins are sold individually in plastic flips. Multiples come in either plastic tubes of 25 coins or Monster Boxes of 500 coins. Each box holds 20 tubes of 25 coins each.

On the obverse of the 2024 British Gold St. George and the Dragon Coins, you’ll find a bust of His Majesty King Charles III. Martin Jennings created this image for The Royal Mint in late 2022, and it debuted in 2023. His Majesty is shown in left-profile relief without a crown on his head.

The reverse side of the 2024 1/4 oz Gold St. George and the Dragon Coins features an image of St. George created by Jody Clark. Here, St. George is shown on horseback as he rides over a dragon and slays the beast with his spear. This is one of the most common depictions of St. George in both art and currency designs.

How Does Free Shipping Work?
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
When will my order ship?
Most BullionMax orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
Can I choose the method of shipping?
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
Will I need to sign for my package?
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
What about International Orders?
BullionMax is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
