North Carolina, the Tar Heel State, offers a stunning mix of landscapes, from the Appalachian Mountains to the Atlantic coastline. Rich in history, North Carolina played key roles in both the American Revolution and the Civil War. Today, the state thrives with industries like agriculture, biotechnology, and finance. Right now, you can purchase the 1 oz Colorized Scottsdale North Carolina State Flag Silver Bars at BullionMax.
Bar Highlights:
Each 1 oz Colorized Scottsdale North Carolina State Flag Silver Bar comes in a protective capsule. These bars are part of the Scottsdale Flag Bar Series, which includes 54 bars showcasing colorized flags from all 50 US states, plus the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
The obverse of the Colorized Scottsdale North Carolina State Flag Silver Bars displays the Scottsdale Mint’s name, logo, and key hallmarks. The Scottsdale Lion is prominently featured on the right side of the bar, with the mint’s name inscribed on the left. The bar’s weight, metal content, and purity are marked at the top.
On the reverse, you’ll find the state flag of North Carolina. The blue union includes two significant dates in North Carolina’s history. The top date, May 20, 1775, celebrates the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence, which some consider the first declaration of independence from Britain in the American colonies. The bottom date, April 12, 1776, signifies the Halifax Resolves, which empowered North Carolina’s delegates to support independence at the Continental Congress.
In between these two dates are the letters “N” and “C” in gold, standing for North Carolina. Above the “N” is a gold ribbon with the first date, and below the “C” is another gold ribbon with the second date. This clear labeling leaves no doubt as to which state the flag represents. There is also a five-pointed star between the “N” and “C”.
