The Royal Canadian Mint has been producing the Canadian Maple Leaf bullion series since 1979. Initially, they released gold bullion coins, which are among the oldest gold bullion coins still available today. In 1988, the Mint introduced a 1 oz silver coin with .9999 pure silver, marking the first coin ever to achieve this level of purity. The 2025 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Tubes are now available from BullionMax.
Coin Tube Highlights:
Each 2025 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Tube includes 25 coins in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The Silver Maple Leaf is renowned for its .9999 pure silver content, totaling 25 Troy ounces of silver in this tube. This year’s issue is notable as the second in the series to feature His Majesty King Charles III on the obverse.
The sugar maple leaf has held significant meaning since European settlers arrived in Canada. It became a prominent symbol, appearing on various provincial and territorial coats of arms and flags. Today, it is closely associated with Canada and is recognized as a major national symbol worldwide.
On the obverse of the 2025 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf, you’ll find a bust of King Charles III. This is the first portrayal of Charles III on Royal Canadian Mint coins, featuring a left-profile relief without a crown, designed by Steven Rosati.
The reverse side of 2025 1 oz Silver Maple Leaf Coins showcases the sugar maple leaf, an iconic Canadian emblem. This design, created by Walter Ott in 1979, appears on all versions of the Canadian Maple Leaf bullion coins.
