These coins come in protective plastic slabs, and while they have a slight loss of original mint luster, they remain in great shape. In 1900, the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints were the only two branches striking $10 Liberty Gold Eagles. The Philadelphia Mint struck a total of 293,840 coins that year, while San Francisco issued just 81,000 coins.
