In 1882, the Morgan Silver Dollar was struck in large numbers by various U.S. Mint locations. The Philadelphia Mint produced the most, with 11.1 million coins, followed by 9.25 million from the San Francisco Mint, and 6.09 million from the New Orleans Mint.
