The obverse design of the 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar features a classic image of Lady Liberty. This left-profile relief, created by George T. Morgan in 1878, shows Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, a coronet crown, and a laurel wreath. Around her are 13 stars, symbolizing the original U.S. states.

On the reverse side of the 1887 Morgan Dollar Coin, you will find the heraldic eagle design. The eagle is front-facing with its wings spread wide, clutching both an olive branch and arrows in its talons. The eagle is surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel, symbolizing peace and strength.

The 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar was minted at the Philadelphia Mint, with a total of 20,290,000 coins struck there. Other mints, including those in New Orleans and San Francisco, also produced this coin, though in much smaller numbers.

These 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available in Mint State 66 condition, meaning they have excellent surface quality, near-full mint luster, and only a few minor imperfections visible under magnification.
