Now, the 2013 1/10 oz Australian Gold Kangaroo Coins are available for purchase online at BullionMax.

  • Final mintage of 53,994 coins!
  • Contains 1/10 Troy oz of .9999 pure gold.

  • The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II.
  • The reverse showcases a kangaroo.

On the obverse side of the 2013 1/10 oz Gold Kangaroo Coins, you will see a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998. This iconic portrait shows Her Majesty wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, presented in a right-profile relief.

The reverse of the 2013 Australian Gold Kangaroo features a striking image of a kangaroo. The design illustrates a kangaroo standing tall on its powerful hind legs, looking out over the Australian Outback.

Australia is home to a wide variety of kangaroos, each species adapted to its unique habitat. From the well-known red kangaroo, the largest marsupial on Earth, to smaller wallabies and pademelons, these animals thrive in diverse environments, from dry deserts to lush rainforests. Their impressive hopping ability allows them to traverse various landscapes, and their specialized digestive systems enable them to consume low-quality vegetation. The diversity of kangaroo species highlights the incredible adaptability and resilience of these iconic Australian animals.

The 2013 1/10 oz Australian Gold Kangaroo Coins available here come in protective plastic flips. This year features a distinctive kangaroo design on the reverse, maintaining the series’ design continuity. The Perth Mint set a maximum mintage of 200,000 coins for the 1/10 oz gold weight in 2013, with a final mintage of 53,994 coins sold.
