The obverse field of the 2022 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coin features the standard visual design for all American eagles. This is a full-frontal effigy of Lady Liberty. She is shown in a fitting gown walking towards the viewer with the US Capitol in the background along with sharp sun rays.
The reverse field of the 2022 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coin showcases a bald American eagle in the center of the design field. It is the new design element released in 2021 that was created by Jennie Norris.
