It presents Liberty in full-length, holding a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. The field is adorned with sun rays, a ring of stars along the edge, and the U.S. Capitol Building in the background.
The reverse side of the 2024 1/2 oz Gold Eagle Coins features a new portrayal of the American bald eagle. This natural depiction, created by Jennie Norris and introduced in mid-2021, showcases the bald eagle in left-profile relief.
