On the obverse side of the 2024 American Gold Eagles, you’ll discover Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ iconic 1907 portrayal of Liberty. The reverse side of the 2024 1/2 oz Gold Eagle Coins features a contemporary depiction of the American bald eagle. This artwork by Jennie Norris, introduced in 2020, showcases the head of the bald eagle in left-profile relief and was first minted on these coins in 2021.
