The reverse side of the 2024 1 oz Gold Kangaroo Coin features a kangaroo bounding along a dry creek bed, dominating the foreground in left-profile relief. The coin bears Perth Mint’s P125 mint mark, commemorating the 125th anniversary of the mint’s establishment.
