The 2025 Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins feature the Great Pipe Organ from the Musikverein on the obverse. This famous organ resides in the Golden Hall, the main performance space of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The building, completed in 1870, is an architectural masterpiece designed in a Neoclassical style. The organ shown on the coin is the third version installed at the venue, with the most recent update completed in 2011.

On the reverse side, you’ll find an array of classical musical instruments, symbolizing Austria’s rich cultural history. The design centers on a cello, flanked by two violins, with a French horn, bassoon, and harp in the background. This design has been a constant feature of the Gold Philharmonic series since its debut and reflects the strong connection between Austria and classical music.

All 2025 1/10 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. They are offered either individually in protective flips or in multiples of 20, housed in plastic tubes for secure storage. The 1/10 oz Gold Philharmonic was added to the series in 1991, two years after the introduction of the 1 oz and 1/4 oz options.
