The obverse side of the 2025 Canadian Gold Maple Leaf features a new portrait of King Charles III. Designed by Steven Rosati, this left-profile image of His Majesty, without a crown, was first introduced in 2024. King Charles III is only the second monarch to ever appear on the Gold Maple Leaf series.
On the reverse side of the 2025 1/10 oz Gold Maple Leaf Coins, you’ll find the iconic sugar maple leaf. This design, crafted by Walter Ott in 1979, has been the defining feature of the series since its inception and continues to represent Canada’s rich natural heritage.
