Each 2025 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle Coin in this listing comes with either individual packaging or bulk packaging. Individual coins are shipped in a protective flip, while multiples of 40 coins are available in an acrylic tube. All coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

The American Gold Eagle series includes three versions of the 1/4 oz gold coin. The longest-running is the 1/4 oz BU Gold Eagle, followed by the 1/4 oz Proof Gold Eagle. The 1/4 oz Burnished Gold Eagle, which was available from 2006 to 2008, was a shorter-lived option.

On the obverse of the 2025 American Gold Eagle, you’ll find an image of Lady Liberty. This design, created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, originally appeared on the 1907 $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. It depicts Liberty in a frontal pose with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left.

The reverse side of the 2025 1/4 oz Gold Eagle features a modern design of the bald eagle by Jennie Norris. This new design, introduced in 2021, showcases a left-profile image of the bald eagle’s head and marks the first change in the Gold Eagle’s design since the series began.
