This design depicts Liberty standing tall with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, surrounded by stars, sunrays, and the U.S. Capitol in the background.

The reverse of the 2025 1 oz Gold Eagle Coin features a new design introduced in July 2021 by Jennie Norris. This design presents the bald eagle’s head in left-profile relief, showcasing detailed features of its gaze and plumage.
