The obverse of the 2025 1 oz Gold Britannia Coin features His Majesty King Charles III. This left-profile portrait of the King is the first-generation effigy created by Martin Jennings in 2022. In keeping with tradition, His Majesty is shown without a crown in this detailed design.

On the reverse, you’ll find the iconic Britannia design by Philip Nathan. Introduced in 1987, this image depicts Britannia in full-length relief. She stands confidently holding a trident in one hand and an olive branch in the other, her shield adorned with the Union Jack by her side.
