The Canadian Gold Maple Leaf is one of the most recognized gold bullion coins available today. First released in 1979, the series has grown over the years to include several sizes and unique formats. Among them is the Canadian Gold MapleGram, offering a more flexible option for those who want smaller increments of gold. Right now, you can order the 2025 25 Gram Canadian Gold MapleGram online from BullionMax.
Coin Highlights:
The 1 Gram version of the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf debuted in 2014, marking the final size added to the Maple Leaf lineup. This smaller format—known as the MapleGram—makes it easier to divide and store gold. While Queen Elizabeth II appeared on these coins through 2023, the 2024 and newer issues now show King Charles III.
Each 2025 Canadian Gold MapleGram set arrives with 25 individual 1 Gram coins, sealed securely within a single blistercard. The Royal Canadian Mint also includes an assay card to verify the gold content and purity. Each carded coin features its own hallmark details for easy identification.
On the obverse of 2025 Gold MapleGram Coins, you’ll find the official portrait of King Charles III. This left-facing effigy, created by Canadian artist Steven Rosati, debuted in 2024. It is only the second time a Canadian artist has designed a monarch portrait for the nation’s coinage.
The reverse of each coin features the famous sugar maple leaf design by Walter Ott. A symbol of Canadian heritage, this design has been the face of the Maple Leaf series since its first release in 1979. It continues to be used across all weights and metal types in the series.
