In 1922, the United States Mint achieved its highest production volume for Peace Dollars. That year, over 84.27 million coins were struck, making it the most prolific year in the series. The Philadelphia Mint played a significant role, producing 51.737 million coins alone.

All 1922 Peace Silver Dollar Coins offered are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. This series was minted from 1921 to 1928, with final releases in 1934 and 1935. You can purchase these coins individually in plastic flips or in tubes of 20 if available.

The obverse design of the 1922 Peace Dollar Coins, crafted by Anthony de Francisci, features a left-profile relief of Lady Liberty, adorned with a radiant crown. The year and national motto are engraved alongside her image.

On the reverse side of 1922 Peace Silver Dollars, de Francisci illustrated a bald eagle at rest on an olive branch. This design represents the nation’s aspiration for peace after World War I, capturing a tranquil scene with the eagle’s calm posture and rays of light emanating from the coin’s edge.
