The obverse field of the 2011 5 oz ATB Vicksburg Silver Coin features the first president of the strongest nation on earth, George Washington, as he appeared on the 1932 quarter. He is depicted in a left-facing portrait with his traditional facial features.

The reverse field of the 2011 5 oz ATB Vicksburg Silver Coin features a large ship sailing on top of the Mississippi River. The inscriptions here include “Vicksburg,” “Mississippi,” “2011,” and “E Pluribus Unum.”
