The V75 Privy Proof Silver Eagles mark the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, with a limited mintage of 75,000 coins. Both silver and gold releases share the same commemorative privy mark design on the obverse, shaped like the Rainbow Pool. The Rainbow Pool, originally built in the 1920s in Washington D.C., became a part of the National World War II Memorial in the early 2000s.

The 2020-W 1 oz V75 Privy Proof Silver Eagle Coins feature Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty design on the obverse. Weinman created this visual in 1916 for the obverse of the US Half Dollar coin.

John Mercanti’s heraldic eagle design is on the reverse of the 2020-W 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle. This modern design is based in Robert Scot’s 1794 depiction of a bald eagle supporting the US national shield with the arrows of war and olive branch of peace in its talons.

These coins have earned PR70 grades from the PCGS, indicating their perfect proof condition. While additional labels like DCAM and First Strike are possible, they are not guaranteed.
