The US Mint celebrated the 100th anniversary of the last Morgan Dollars by producing five versions of the coin. Historically, five mints produced the Morgan Dollar, but only three remain active today. To honor this history, the Philadelphia Mint struck a 2021 Morgan Dollar, along with versions featuring CC and O privy marks for the Carson City and New Orleans Mints. The Denver Mint and San Francisco Mint also issued 2021 Morgans with their respective D and S mint marks.
