From the 15-star, 15-stripe flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to pen “The Star-Spangled Banner” in 1814, to the modern versions, each update signifies a key moment in American history.

On the obverse side of the 2025 1 oz Silver Eagle Coin, you’ll see the image of Lady Liberty. This design, called Walking Liberty, was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and featured on the US Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947.

The reverse of the 2025 American Silver Eagle Coin displays a depiction of an American bald eagle. Designed by Emily Damstra in 2020, this artwork shows the eagle in flight, grasping an oak branch in its talons.
