Palladium coins are only available from a handful of mints. Most notably, the United States Mint, the Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint, Chinese Mint, and Moscow Mint. The first palladium coins can be traced back to Sierra Leone in 1966, however, the first palladium bullion coins can be found with the Moscow Mint in 1989 with their Russian Palladium Ballerina. Other popular examples include the American Palladium Eagle and the Canadian Palladium Maple Leaf.
