Product Details

The Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coin is the official gold bullion coin of Canada that debuted in 1979 and became the second bullion coin to be made for private investors and collectors. It is by far the Royal Mint’s most successful coin and is a healthy competitor to the American Gold Eagle coin series. Today, BullionMax is happy to present to you the 1/2 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coin from any random year!

Coin Highlights:

  • This coin ships in Individual plastic flips!
  • Available with various dates!
  • 1/2 oz Gold Maple available since 1986!
  • Contains 1/2 Troy oz of .9999 pure gold content.
  • The obverse field showcases the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
  • The reverse field features the Canadian maple leaf image.

BullionMax will package each 1/2 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coin for investors and collectors in individual plastic flips. We cannot guarantee dates in advance and would like you to note that effigies of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse can vary by date. It is possible to receive coins with matching dates and designs if you buy more than one.

The Queen Elizabeth II effigy is featured the obverse field of the 1/2 oz Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coin. She is depicted in a right-facing relief with her headpiece known as the Diamond Diadem. Designs possible on this side include Arnold Machin’s design, Dora de Pedery-Hunt’s effigy of Her Majesty, or Susanna Blunt’s design.

The reverse field of the 1/2 oz  Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coin features the national symbol of the nation. This is the sugar maple leaf. The country’s name is displayed boldly at the top of the coin, along with the purity and metal content of the coin.
