Product details

Circulation-quality silver coins are a fantastic way to diversify your silver collection. These one-dollar coins, minted by the Royal Canadian Mint between 1958-1967, were used for everyday transactions before being taken out of circulation. We have a variety of denominations and years on hand and will fill your order from our available stock.

One dollar Canadian coins from this period were all minted at the prestigious Royal Canadian Mint. All feature a profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, either the 1953 Mary Gillick rendering or the 1965 Arnold Machin design, depending on its year of minting.

The reverse design varies. Most commonly, the reverse features the classic voyageur design: Two persons, a European explorer, and a First Nations person, paddling a birch-bark canoe while the Northern Lights illuminate the skies over their heads.

This may be your last chance to add a Canadian silver $1 coin to your collection, so don’t hesitate!

*We pack individual coins in plastic sleeves for protection before shipping. If you order 10+ of the same coin, we’ll secure them in protective tubes before shipping.
