Do you buy all types of coins and bullion?

How quickly are items verified once they're received?
Most orders are verified the same day they are received. However, during busier times this may take 1-2 business days to occur.
How will you pay out my buyback order?
When you place your order we will contact you about the options to pay out your buyback.
How do I know if I need to report my purchase and/or sale?
BullionMax is not a financial/tax adviser and therefore cannot provide tax advice. We suggest contacting your trusted financial/tax advisor to determine if there are any tax implications of your purchase/sale of Precious Metals.
Are there any other hidden fees for selling to BullionMax?
No, there are no hidden fees for selling your items to us. It's just that simple.
How much is my coin/bar worth?
Pricing will depend entirely, on brand, condition, and availability.
How do I ship my buyback order to you?
Once you create your buyback order, you will receive instructions via email on how to pack and ship your buyback to us.
Do you have a minimum buyback amount?
Yes, the minimum amount to be able to sell to us is $1,000.
How quickly do you pay?
Payment is typically issued in 1-3 business days from the time your items have been verified. It can take 1-2 weeks for a check to arrive if you choose that option.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. If you are registered user, you can access your purchase order history from My account page, find order you want to cancel and cancel it there.
Can I receive order notifications via SMS text?

Not at this time, but we do plan to add this capability in the near future.

Can I modify my order?

No. Unfortunately, our largely automated system cannot process order modifications if the spot price has changed since the order was placed, and due to constant market fluctuations, it almost always has. Once you’ve placed an order, it is final.

Why do you ship my order to my billing address?

This is a security measure to combat credit card fraud. By shipping to the billing address on file with your credit card company, we prevent scammers with stolen card numbers from fraudulent activity. 

Do you accept gold, silver and platinum in trade?

Yes we do! We’re always looking for new inventory. See our Sell to Us page for more details.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders over $199 (USD) will receive FREE SHIPPING, while orders under $199 (USD) will be charged a shipping fee of $9.95

What happens if you don’t get my payment within 5 business days?

If payment is not received within (5) five business days, BullionMax reserves the right to: Accept your payment (and we determine they’re good funds, ship your order), Refuse your payment and cancel your order, Provide an updated quote based on the market price at the time we received payment.

How long has BullionMax been in business?

BullionMax is brand new! But here’s the thing: we’ve been in the precious metals industry for nearly a decade. Our partner gold IRA company has been in business 18 years. When you add it all up, the BullionMax team has well over 100 years of combined experience in the precious metals industry. 

How do I pay by eCheck or ACH?

BullionMax now works with Plaid, a third-party service, to help you pay instantly via ACH/eCheck. To provide this service and to help create a secure connection to your financial institution, Plaid collects and uses your financial institution login information. If you have more than one account with your financial institution, you can choose which account you'd like to add (checking, savings etc.) BullionMax does not have direct access to your bank information! Plaid is already in use by most large corporations that accept payments online, and this service allows you to have a fast, efficient precious metals buying experience.

How fast do you need the payment for my order?

As soon as possible, definitely within (5) five business days to guarantee your price. We reserve the right to cancel orders that don’t meet this requirement. When paying by check, we strongly recommend sending your payment the same day you place the order. Using Priority Mail through the United States Postal Service will help to ensure your payment is received on time.

How do I pay for my order by bank wire?

Select bank wire as your payment method during checkout and place your order.  We’ll send you an order confirmation email, along with our banking information for the wire and a reminder to reference your order number on your payment. Please do this if you want faster processing time and a quicker order shipment! We expect to receive your payment within 5 (five) business days of placing the order. We only accept Same-Day bank wire payments (no ACH transactions).

How do I pay by check?

During checkout, select “paper check” as your payment method and place your order. We’ll send you an order confirmation email along with payment instructions, our address and a reminder to write your order number on your payment. Please do this. It makes our lives so much easier, and it speeds up order processing so we can ship your order sooner.

Credit or debit cards, paper checks, bank wires, PayPal, and now you can link your bank account and pay via ACH/eCheck instantly. We also accept cryptocurrency payments via BitPay.

Do you offer a discount for pay by check or bank wire?

Yes! All prices listed already reflect a 4% discount for payment by check or bank wire. If you pay by credit card or PayPal, you receive our standard pricing. 

Can I check the status on my bank wire payment?

Sure. If you are certain BullionMax is in receipt of your payment but it has not been applied yet, please let us know the details about your payment and we will research it for you.

Payment by check:
Check payments sent to our P.O. Box address go directly to our bank for processing. It is important to note BullionMax has no visibility as to what checks are waiting to be processed. Checks are processed throughout the business day through 5 p.m. (ET) TBD. If you tracked the delivery of your payment to BullionMax, it will be processed before the end of the next business day. In the event you cancel your order, we cannot stop the processing of a check.

It is not at all uncommon for check payments to take up to a week or so to arrive through the mail. In most cases, waiting for receipt of our payment confirmation will answer most inquiries about check payments.

BullionMax only accepts paper check payments less than $100,000.00 (USD).

 

 

Payment by bank wire:
BullionMax does accept bank wire payment for any order amount. Any order exceeding $100,000.00 (USD) must  be verified and will be reviewed on a per order basis. Wire payments are processed throughout the business day through 5 p.m. (ET). We may be in receipt of your wire but will only inform you of receipt when it has been applied to the order. This notification will occur either before 1 p.m. (ET) or before 5 p.m. (ET), based on the batch processing times.

 

 

Please note that BullionMax can only process Same-Day bank wires. (Many banks offer Next Day, 2-day and 3-day wires with bank reduced fees, which makes selecting those very appealing. Selecting anything other than a Same-Day wire will not only delay your order because the payment cannot be accepted, but you'll also still need to send a Same-Day wire.)

Why is the price in my cart different now that I’m ready to complete my order?

Precious metals prices change constantly. Once you start the checkout process, your prices are locked for 10 minutes. Simply complete your checkout within ten minutes and you’re all set! If you’ve been shopping for a while and want to know what the price on items on your cart is right now, refresh your cart (press CTRL+R or use your browser’s refresh button) to update to current market pricing. Also, if you changed your payment method, you may lose a payment discount, which will look like a price increase.

ACH/eCheck, bank wire and paper check payments qualify for a "cash discount."

Credit/debit cards, PayPal and cryptocurrency payments do not qualify for this discount.

Do you charge sales tax?

If applicable in your jurisdiction, sales tax will be charged.

Once I’ve placed my order, how long is my price locked in?

For 5 business days.

How long is my spot price locked?

During the checkout process, pricing is locked for 5 minutes. Every 5 minutes after then, pricing updates based on the current spot prices.

Are my prices locked in when I complete my order?

Yes. When you place an order over the telephone or online, we will send you an order confirmation email detailing what you purchased as well as your locked prices.

Do you ship to UPS store locations?

No. UPS 3-Day Air service excludes shipments to UPS Stores, as well as Alaska, Hawaii and APO addresses.

Do you offer UPS shipping to Alaska and Hawaii?

No, we do not. The costs in shipping to these states is extremely prohibitive, so we utilize USPS on all shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

Can I pick up my package from the carrier?

No. All UPS shipments ship with a “No Will Call” restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS location or just left at the delivery address. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted. UPS will make three delivery attempts. If nobody is available at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.

Do I have to sign for my shipment?

Packages we ship may not require a signature for delivery. Expedited shipping, whether via UPS or the U.S. Postal Service, requires a signature for delivery.

My package seems to be lost. What do I do?

We see very few delivery issues with our carriers, but sometimes delays do occur. In those situations, we appreciate your patience to wait a little longer for your package (at least 7 business days) before contacting us. Should the package not arrive, an investigation of the shipment is required before any order is reshipped or refunded. We may ask you to file a police report if it appears loss is due to theft or tampering. Your assistance speeds up the investigation and the sooner we complete it, the sooner we can resolve the missing order.

Can you ship my order to my post office box?

No, we cannot ship to a post office box. 

What if I accepted delivery of a damaged/opened/tampered with package?

If you have already taken possession of a damaged or tampered package, please save all packaging and contact call us at (800) 729-3202 during normal business hours of 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PT) Monday – Friday within 48 hours for further instructions. Failure to notify us of damage or tampering within 48 hours from signature or delivery date may impact our ability to cover your claim.

This package looks damaged/opened/tampered with. What do I do?

We recommend you refuse any shipment that appears to be damaged or tampered with (because the shipping insurance ends once signed for and/or delivered). When refused, the package(s) will return to BullionMax for inspection.

I got my order but it was incomplete/wrong. What do I do?

If your order was delivered with no signs of being tampered with, but appears to be incomplete or missing product, please contact us within thirty (30) days of receipt. Please note that notification of issues for tampered packages must be made within two (2) days and any return requests must be submitted within seven (7) days from the shipment date.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Packages take 1-10 business days for delivery. We’ll send your tracking number by email when your order ships. 

How do you ship my order?

We ship via Registered/Insured U.S. Postal Service and UPS. Each package is fully insured and may require a signature upon delivery. 

How long before you ship my order?

Once your payment has cleared, we will begin processing, packaging and shipping your order. How long this takes varies based on your payment method, the size of your order and your specific products.

Do you report my purchase to the IRS?

BullionMax is not required to report our sales transactions to the IRS or any other federal, state or local agencies unless you fall under the Form 8300 requirement.
